Spring Awakening is the ground breaking rock musical based on the controversial German play Spring Awakening (1891) but Frank Wedekind.  Set in late-19th-century Germany, the musical tells the story of teenagers discovering the inner and outer tumult of teenage sexuality.  Melchior and naïve Wendla stumble into each other's arms, passionate and curious, while anxious Moritz struggles to live up to the stringent expectations of society.  This group of young men and women travel the fraught and rocky path from youth to adulthood celebrating an unforgettable journey with a power, poignancy and passion you'll never forget, framed by an electrifying fusion of morality, sexuality, and rocking pop!
